Tour Itinerary

Day 01-Arrival in Paro to Thimphu (1.30Hrs) 
On arrival in Paro international airport, you will be received by our representative and drive to Thimphu by private car/bus. Check into your hotel. In the afternoon, we proceed to visit Memorial Chorten, a stupa built in memory of our late 3rd king. Further, we will proceed to the Buddha viewpoint, from where we can see the entire Thimphu city. 
Overnight at Thimphu | Altitude: 2350m

Day 02 – Thimphu – Punakha, Punakha Sightseeing
On your way to Punakha, stop at Dochula Pass to have a coffee break and admire the grand 108 stupas. If in good weather, take in the enchanting views of Mt. Himalaya. Proceed to Chimmi Lhakhang, a temple dedicated to the Divine Madman and a sacred place where people pray for children. Next, embrace the highlight – Punakha Dzong, a very beautiful Bhutanese architecture surrounded by the Pho Chu and Mo Chu rivers, with rich Buddhist collections. You will also visit the Suspension Bridge nearby (the longest bridge in Bhutan). Overnight: Punakha

Day 03 – Punakha-Phobjikha (By car, 2 1/2 Hrs.) 
Check out from the hotel after our delicious breakfast, we will drive to valley of black necked cranes via Wangdue. En-route we will visit Rinchengang village. Visit Gangey Gonpa and black necked crane center to get better idea and information about this endanger bird of Bhutan which migrates from Tibetan plateau to Phobjikha in every winter. Later in the evening we will visit typical Bhutan farm house or choose to stay at farm house that we offer in Phobjikha. Overnight at Phobjikha, altitude 2900m.

Day 04- Phobjikha-Thimphu
After b/fast drive back to thimphu on the way explore around wangdue town. After lunch to thimphu visit vegetable marketPangri zampawhere monks are studying the Buddhist astrology.  Overnight at Thimphu | Altitude: 2350m.

Day 05- Hike to Kele Goenpa then Haa.
This morning, a scenic drive of 1 & ½ hr will bring us to Chele La pass at an altitude of approx. 3900m/1300ft. On one side is the Paro and on the other side is Haa Valley. The hike of this morning begins from a short descent below the pass. It is about a half hour uphill and shorter coming down hill. The hike brings you to a cluster of shelters built on sheer cliffs, under the rock/cave and a temple that houses some 50 or so nuns, then to Haa for overnight.

Day 06:Thimphu Festival
Today, witness the Thimphu festival (tshechu), and we will spend the whole day in the festival, which will be accompanied by various mask dances and folk dancers, along with jokers’ actions in the crowd. Evening to Paro. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7. Day hike to Tiger Nest (Taksang Monastery)
This morning, hike to visit Taktsang at 3000m from sea level – Tiger’s Nest- built in 1691 by Second Buddha, Padma Sambava – It said that Padma Sambava flew on Tigress to the cliff where currently temple is located), be amazed by the view of this Sacred temple hanging on the rocky cliff, and take in the beauty of Paro valley.  After that, move to the ruins of Drukgyel Dzong, built to commemorate Bhutan’s victory over. The Tibetan invaders. If in good weather, you’ll see a great distant view of Mt. Jhomolhari. Free time in Paro town, in the evening there will Bhutanese culture show with local drinks. Day 8. Departure
Say goodbye to Bhutan today. After breakfast we will escort you to the airport for your departure to India/ bkk.
